1.Objective of the Glowing Youthful Mother Contest 2012 !
The contest is organized by Mega Lifesciences Sdn Bhd in association with Wellness Society of Malaysia.
With the key objective to empower mothers as the ambassadors of good health within their family and in the society at large, this contest would be the best platform to address key issues on wellness & health as what Mega Lifesciences believes the four essential pillars – healthy skin, healthy heart, healthy joints and healthy liver - which affect most women and even men especially in their 30s, 40s, 50s.
2 .How to Enter Glowing Youthful Mother Contest 2012 ?
Glowing Youthful Mother Contest 2012 is open to all Malaysian Mothers (Citizens/Residents) who are more than 30 years and less than 60 years of age as on March 31st 2012
The contest entries are open to all Malaysian mothers in their 30s, 40s, 50s including those mothers who applied in GYMC 2011 (except the top 15 finalists of GYMC 2011 & employees / staff of Mega Lifesciences ).
Entries for the contest can be submitted through –
a)Prescribed application forms available at all leading pharmacies.
b) Online www.gymc.com.my
c) Online www.facebook.com/glowforever
Applications to be sumbitted along with a write up in not more than 50 words –
“What makes me a Glowing & Youthful Mother” and recent photo of participating mother and her children.
Closing date for receipt of applications - June 30th 2012
3.Glowing Youthful Mother Contest 2012 – Program Flow
- Applications to be received between 1st May 2012 – 30th June 2012. Entries close on June 30th 2012.
- About 500 mothers will be invited for auditions at Eastin Hotel , Petaling Jaya on July 14th & 15th 2012. Auditions will be done in collaboration with Wellness Society of Malaysia.
- 100 shortlisted mothers from the audition process will have their first public appearance at the The Square, Publika , KL on Sunday, September 2nd 2012.
- There will be an Online Voting process during August & September 2012 to select 26 finalists who will go through the boot camps during weekends in October 2012 at selected Clark Hatch fitness centres.
- The Grand Finale will be held on Saturday, November 3rd 2012 at KLCC Plenary Theatre, Kuala Lumpur. The grand finale promises to be a glittering and colorful event on the lines of an international pageant to be well attended by media, celebrities & invited guests.
4. Basis for selection of applicants at various stages of the contest.
a) Selection for Auditions about 500 Nos
Based on basic eligibility criteria being met by thecontestants , write up quality & relevance , positive attitude towards micronutrients, picture of the participating mothers with their children
b) Selection of about 100 mothers for next round
On the days of auditions (July 14th & 15th 2012) at Eastin Hotel , P.J – assessment will be done by the GYMC 2012 organizing committee on catwalk , photos, stage presence & confidence , ability to handle questions , understanding / knowledge of micronutrients and attitude towards healthy lifestyle , biological age assessment by experts from Wellness Society of Malaysia
c) Selection of 26 grand finalists through online voting process
100 selected mothers will be invited for a mini pageant on September 2nd 2012 at The Square , Publika, KL for their first public appearance ,
Online voting process in August – September 2012 for these100 short listed mothers will be conducted for further shortlist to 26 grand finalists –
Basis for on online voting by –
- Privileged Glow Members ( PGM ) members – 80 % weightage

d) Selection of top 3 at the Grand Finale
20 Grand finalists will go through different rounds of the pageant like evening gown round with introduction to the judges and audience,casual dress or sportswear round, question and answer round .
3 finalists will be selected by a panel of judges –
Based on their votes in the voting process by PGM and Facefook fans ( 50 % weightage)
Based on their performance that evening in different rounds at the Grand Finale Pageant
( 50% weightage)
The lucky winner will be someone who embraces healthy lifestyle and makes supplementation / micro nutrients part of her life.
Of course someone who seeks a good support from the Privileged Glow Members
(PGM) , Glowforever facebook fans in the voting process and finally charm the judges on that finale night with her personality and aspiring moments as a mother and a woman !
5.What will be the prizes / sponsorships for participating mothers and winners of GYMC 2012 ?
a) Mega Lifesciences would offer complimentary “Privileged Glow Membership” (PGM) to all mothers joining this contest. PGM comes with a good deal of ongoing wellness rewards and startup kit with discount vouchers & birthday specials worth RM 320 for every PGM member
b) Glowing Youthful Mother Contest 2012 title comes with impressive cash prizes- Winner takes home RM 25,000, Ist Runner Up RM 10,000 and 2nd Runner Up – RM 5,000 apart from attractive gifts & sponsorships for the participating Mothers.
c) Total cash and gift sponsorships in excess of RM 50,000.
There will be additional prizes / gifts sponsorships from cosponsors which will be announced in due course
d) Apart from winning great prizes, name & fame, it is a real opportunity for women to be the ambassadors for preventive health, to further continue spreading the message to other Malaysian women & families on the wellness essentials and help build a healthier society around us.
